*Session fee is included with each Collection. Average time per session is 2-3 hours depending on Outfits and Locations. The session can be divided into 2 apt only (30 minutes in studio and 1-2 hours on location).

FAQ’s

How do I receive more info or book a shoot? Wonderful! Please fill out the contact form and within 48 hours I will send you more information about the Images by Amy Jo Experience.  Once you are ready to book, simply reply to that email with your desired date and I will send over the online booking contract and a link to pay your deposit.

How far in advance should I schedule my session? The earlier the better! I often book out weeks and even months in advance.  Fall sessions are usually booked by Summer and Summer Sessions are usually booked during the Spring months. .

How long does my session last? Most sessions are usually 2-3 hours, giving you plenty of time to fit in at least 4-5 outfits (depending on how quick of a changer you are!)

When do I view my pictures? About 1-2 weeks following your session I will schedule your  viewing and ordering session where I will present your online Gallery to you, and walk you through all of the collections and a la carte options to find out what best suits your needs.

How much does it cost? A $200 deposit is required to secure your date (this fee is transferable but non-refundable) the deposit will go towards your  Session/ Collection.  The session fee includes the pre-consultation, sitting fee and in-person viewing & ordering session. Our Collections include pre-consultation, Session, Online Gallery to view and share Images, Professional and Creative editing, Professional photographer.  The minimum order requirements start at $420, however most clients choose to invest between $600- $850  into their senior portrait experience.

What should I wear? I want your photos to reflect YOU and since each person is different, rather than telling you what looks good I suggest  creating a Pinterest board with lots of different outfit, makeup and hair ideas! The only thing I do suggest is not to wear too busy patterns as they can be distracting (however bold patterns can look great!) and also to steer away from trendy logos or sayings.. Unless it’s your future college, of course!  I am always here to give suggestions, and I also want to see what you have picked out so I ask you to share your Pinterest board or outfits to Images by Amy Jo prior to the session!

Should I get my hair & Makeup done? I want you to not only look great, but also feel your best, which is why I suggest Hair and Makeup for the Ladies. We work with amazing top-of-the-line professional makeup artists & hair stylists who specializes in just that! Feel free to bring your own hair and makeup ideas or leave it up to the professionals to ensure you look AH-MAZING!

I’m so nervous about my shoot! Will you give me pose ideas? Absolutely! In fact, that’s what I am known for! I will give you tons of ideas and directions throughout your session to help you feel at ease. I find the best photos to be the candid photos because that is when you are at your most relaxed state. I will coach you along and make you feel like the beauty queen you are.

Who should I bring with me to my shoot? Feel free to bring mom, dad or a friend as long as you’re comfortable in front of them, if not then you can also come solo!  Keep in mind this is also a special, scary, sad, exciting time in mom and dad’s life.. Plus, they can be very helpful with outfit changes, lip gloss touch ups etc.

What if there is bad weather on the day of my shoot? Don’t worry, I  leave a couple days open during the week for reschedules. I will notify you ASAP if we do have to reschedule, however, I only reschedule if there is either a 50% or higher chance of rain, OR if it’s colder than 40 degrees out. If it’s overcast, don’t worry your pictures will still look amazing!

Where do I change my clothes? Be prepared to turn your car into a dressing room! Feel free to bring a towel or blanket to cover up with between changes. Also, we may do some walking so bring a pair of flip-flops for in-between scene changes.

How long does it take to receive my images? Once your order has been placed, your package will arrive within 3-4 weeks, or 4-6 weeks for custom orders.
